When I find a parent hack or product that is a game-changer in the mamahood, I have to share the love.
This one is a real joy for me to rave about. West Coast Walls has Changed. My. World. And considering that the pandemic has narrowed my world to my home, my office, and Starbucks, that isn’t much of an exaggeration.
West Coast Walls is a local company in my neck-of-the-woods. They provide stunning, removable wallpaper and wall decals. And when I say removable, I don’t mean “you can pull it off along with half of the drywall.” I mean: You can remove it easily and find a beautifully-preserved wall behind it.
I found West Coast Walls while browsing Etsy back in the Fall, when it felt like the old normal way of life was never going to return. Kind of like a single friend that promised nothing would change after you had a baby … and then you only see the odd comment on one of your posts saying “Aww, cute baby!!” but never actually see your friend in-person again.
Let’s just say I was in need of a change.
And since I wasn’t getting out much, I decided to start the change with my home and office. I wanted to feel put-together, at rest, and proud of the space I lived in. Since applying wallpaper from West Coast Walls myself (heck yes I did. And not going to lie, it was an empowering experience), I love inviting company over.
We chose to decorate both of our daughters’ bedrooms. And can I just say: What a relief! Regardless of the state of their rooms, people’s eyes are always drawn to the wall. This company enabled me to make my home a haven, and a cute one at that!
